Introduction.
With raw coastline, ancient forests, unique towns and cultures Pembrokeshire has always appealed. Anywhere that sits along the west of the UK, baring the harsh Atlantic ocean always grabs my attention as somewhere good for the soul and for photography.

The United Kingdom’s smallest city leaves a big impression.

The first night of camping was not ideal – to put it politely. Our recent and untested sleeping set-up didn’t allow Claudia or me much rest, with only Bumble the cockapoo, getting a full nights shut eye. The next morning, we stumbled into St Davids and visited tyf.
tyf are an adventure and equipment hire company based in St Davids, who we hired inflatable mattress toppers and roll mats from for a very, very fair price. Excellent advice and service meant my wife’s only complaint beyond this point was my apparent snoring. Typical.
tyf offer guided coasteering, kayaking, snorkeling and fishing expeditions around the peninsula’s coastline. They also own a second shop in St Davids, which is a retailer for surf and outdoor brands.
