The Client: Goodwood, Revival
Dunlop Racing became the first Official Event Partner of Goodwood Revival, creating a new presence within one of the most distinctive historic motorsport events.
The brief was to document Dunlop’s involvement while also capturing the wider world around it. The cars, people, characters, racing and details that make Revival what it is.
The challenge was to show the relationship between Dunlop and the event without relying on obvious branding. Dunlop’s presence could be found throughout the weekend, from the cars running Dunlop tyres to the people, racing and heritage surrounding them.
For me, the photography needed to feel true to Revival first. Dunlop could then sit naturally within that world, rather than every image needing to make the partnership explicit.
The Work
The brief was to capture Dunlop’s key moments and investments across the three day Goodwood Revival, while building a varied collection of images from across the weekend.
I navigated Dunlop’s priorities across the event, covering key activations and partnership activity alongside the cars, racing, people and details happening around them.
It was important not to simply tick off the brief. As a photographer, I also want to notice what is happening around the planned activity. Small interactions, fleeting details and unexpected encounters can often tell a stronger story than a set piece.
That approach was particularly valuable from a lifestyle perspective. The resulting photography captured not just what Dunlop had invested in, but what it felt like to experience that investment within Revival.
The photography also gave Dunlop a steady stream of content for its own channels, including its official Instagram. The collection covered motorsport, automotive, lifestyle and portrait work, giving the brand a broader visual record of the weekend.
Alongside the main event coverage, I produced dedicated hospitality galleries for Dunlop to share with guests. These focused on the experience around the racing, giving guests a personal record of their time at Revival and creating another use for the photography beyond the event itself.
The images were also used in presentations and materials showcasing Dunlop’s investment in the 2026 Revival. This required photography that could communicate both the scale of the partnership and the quieter ways the brand appeared within the historic motorsport setting.
The Deliverables
The photography was created to support both Dunlop and Goodwood during the event and in the weeks that followed. Working directly with the Dunlop brand team throughout the weekend, I supplied imagery around key moments and activity as they happened.
The final collection supported sponsor reporting, presentations and Dunlop’s social channels, alongside dedicated hospitality galleries for guests.
More importantly, the collection gave Goodwood and Dunlop a long term visual resource from the weekend, covering the partnership, the racing, the cars and the people around it.
